  • Clubhouse Privileges

    • As a Kittiwake Guest, you will be issued your own membership number, allowing you to charge services and products in the Clubhouse and other areas. You may use it for everything you need while visiting Quail Ridge, from green fees to drinks and dinner in the Clubhouse to enjoying the Fitness Center.

  • Dress Code
    • Clubhouse
      • Appropriate golf and tennis attire, as further defined, including dress golf shorts, is permitted in the Clubhouse, Quail’s Nest and Patios. This does not include events which may require a more formal dress code.
      • Workout clothing, bare midriffs, tank tops, tee shirts, short shorts, cargo shorts and pants, bathing attire, beachwear, flip-flops, sliders, and bare feet are not acceptable in the Clubhouse at any time. Dress denim pants of any color but blue are permitted in the Quail’s Nest and Patios, if the denim is not ripped or torn.
      • Men are not permitted to wear any form of headgear in the Clubhouse or on the Patios but may wear golf caps in the men’s locker room only. They also must wear a shirt with a collar unless it is golf or tennis industry designed. Shirts must be tucked in unless they are designed to be worn untucked as outside wear, for example, Tommy Bahama and untucked brand shirts.
      • From November through April during dinner dining hours, men are required to wear jackets in the Overlook Room, unless there is a special or private event that deems otherwise.
      • Children’s dress should be in keeping with the standards set for adults.
      • Event attire is clearly defined on a per event basis. Please consult the website information about each event or Clubhouse staff for assistance if in doubt.
      Golf

      Proper attire must always be worn on the golf courses and the practice areas. The dress code shall apply to adults, children and all guests.

      • For women, shorts, pants, skorts, skirts, and golf dresses are permissible attire provided they are golf industry length and quality, i.e. they were designed by a manufacturer of golf clothing. Women may wear collared shirts, or they may wear designer collarless golf shirts, but tee shirts are not acceptable. They may also wear sleeveless golf shirts with a collar and may wear their shirts out as designed.
      • Men must wear collared shirts; however, short-sleeve and long-sleeve mock turtleneck shirts are permissible. Men must tuck their shirts in.
      • Jogging shorts, cut-offs, cargo shorts and pants, denim shorts of any color, tennis shorts, bathing suits, tank tops, tee shirts, or blue jeans are not acceptable attire for golf.
      • Golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes must be worn. No metal spikes are acceptable.
      • Hats must be worn in the proper manner. They may not be worn backwards.
      • The Golf Shop staff shall have the right to deny play on the courses or practice areas to anyone not dressed accordingly.
      Tennis
      • Appropriate tennis attire is required for all players.
      • Male players must wear tennis industry (collar or collarless “crew”) shirts.
      • Females must wear tennis industry tops and skirts or shorts.
      • Only tennis shoes designed for clay courts are permitted (cross-trainers are not permitted).
      • Cargo shorts and pants, jeans, cut-offs, work-out attire, golf shorts, Bermuda shorts, boxer shorts, tops exposing the mid-section, or dresses that are too short are not permitted.
      • The Tennis Shop staff shall have the right to deny play on the courts or practice areas to anyone not dressed accordingly.
